Many people want to be wealthy and famous. Some will go at all cost be rich and recognised by others. Indeed, the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. This is what the scripture says, “Do not be overawed when others grow rich, when the splendor of their houses increases; for they will take nothing with them when they die, their splendor will not descend with them. Though while they live they count themselves blessed— and people praise you when you prosper— they will join those who have gone before them, who will never again see the light of life. People who have wealth but lack understanding are like the beasts that perish” (Psalms 49:16-20 NIV).
Being wealthy without the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ leads to death (eternal damnation). Therefore, be content, be hardworking, trust in the Lord, and be obedient. Because a lazy person does not eat. “For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat” (2 Thessalonians 3:10 NKJV). Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord receives eternal life. For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved” (Romans 10:13 NIV).
P.S
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:19-21 NIV)
