Jesus Christ is the good shepherd. He is the way and the truth and the life. It is God’s desire for all people to come into a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. I was one of those that was not in the sheep pen. Today, I am glad to say I belong in God’s kingdom. Accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and saviour has changed me. I now have life, Christ lives in me, and sin doesn’t have power over me. I listen to Jesus Christ and I follow Him.
Jesus Christ is interested in you. He has paid for your sins. His gift to you is free but it cost Him His life. Do you have a relationship with God through Him? Is Jesus Christ your Lord and saviour? Do you listen to hear His voice?
“I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd” (John 10:14-16 NIV).
“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with Me” (Revelation 3:20 NIV)
